About Us

Statement of Beliefs and Practices

We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in baptism by total immersion and encourage all believers to be baptized in this
manner as a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ. We do not practice infant baptism;
our preferred minimum age for baptism is 12 years, provided the individual is able to
understand the meaning and commitment of the Christian faith. Before baptism, every church
member should undergo biblical instruction to understand what it means to be a Christian and
to live according to Christian principles.

We do not require a new member to be baptized again if they have already received Christian
baptism in their former church. However, if a new member personally feels convicted and
desires to be baptized again within our church, this request will be accommodated.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and in the gift of speaking in tongues, in
accordance with the teachings and example found in Acts Chapter 2.

Regarding marriage, if a person joins our church while already living in a polygamous
marriage, we do not encourage divorce from any existing wives. Rather, we counsel the
individual not to take any additional wives. For members who are already part of the church,
we discourage the practice of polygamy and uphold God’s design for marriage.
According to our understanding of Christianity, believers are called to undergo a transformation
in their attitudes and priorities, turning away from worldly pursuits and continually seeking the
Kingdom of God above all else, as taught in Matthew 6:33. This is achieved through a life of
continuous prayer, obedience to God’s Word, and spiritual growth.

We believe that a believer should prioritize feeding the spirit before satisfying the desires of
the flesh. As taught in Matthew 4:4 and Deuteronomy 8:3, human life depends entirely on
God’s sustaining power and not on physical provisions such as food alone. Therefore, spiritual
nourishment through God’s Word is essential for Christian living.
We take a cautious and discerning approach toward claims of extraordinary miracles, such as
“miracle money.” While we believe that God performs miracles, we also believe that all
spiritual manifestations should be tested against Scripture.

We believe that prosperity comes through faithfully applying God’s Word, living according to
His principles, and working diligently. We encourage believers to trust God while exercising
responsibility, integrity, and hard work in all areas of life.
We believe in caring for and supporting the underprivileged, including orphans, widows, and
others in need. This support may include assistance with school fees, medical expenses, and
other essential needs. As taught in James 2:14–17, genuine faith should be demonstrated
through acts of love, compassion, and practical service to others.
